Piambura, the second stage of the verdaccio technique. I completely destroyed this piece with the consecutive stages. So this is the only version of this painting I'm willing to share. I'll have to keep practicing this technique before I have something to show.
The next stage consisted of painting the skin with Sinopia, Olive Green, and Lead White. The background was painted with a limited palette that included all primary. Hi Paulo, I know this was some time ago, but do you remember the way of applying the color layers? is more opaque and with white in the lights, and more transparent and without white in the middle tones and shadows? thanks in advance!
