Painting at my Tía Amelia's

This sketch is of Doña Delia, my little cousins grandma. We held a painting workshop at my Tía Amelia's house on Sat and Sunday. Again, I'm forcing myself to work in monochrome, but couldn't resist to do the color study below:

I quickly headed for the creek after painting Doña Delia to pull off this 1hr study.

Here's what everyone else did that day. I think they turned out great!

Becky's Painting

Patti's Painting

This is little Marco taking the throne after grandma's session. The painting on the far left is my tía Amelia's portrait of her dad, my grandfather. That's from the last workshop we held at my mom's house.
